(January 29) Players in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 with the most runs and most wickets: The group stage of the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 is over and now 12 qualified teams head to the Super 6 stage. Indian and Pakistani players lead the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 in runs scored and wickets taken. Here we are with the list of players with the most runs and most wickets in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024.
The defending champions India are on the rise once again. New young faces presenting new stories to add another cup of coffee to the locker room. India U19 played three matches in the group stage and won all three. They met for the first time Bangladesh U19 where they batted first and scored 251 runs and later successfully defended the total with 84 runs remaining.
They next played against Ireland U19 and USA U19 and won both games clearly by exactly 201 runs. The India U19s finished the group stage as Group A leaders and are now in Group 1 of the Super 6 stage Pakistan U19, New Zealand U19, Bangladesh U19, Nepal U19 and Ireland U19.
The Pakistan U19s also impressed. They were placed in Group D and played three games in the group stage. They won all three with impressive batting and bowling skills and ended up top of Group D. Now they are in Group 1 for the Super 6 round.
Australia With their defeat, the U19s recorded their biggest lead this season Zimbabwe by 225 runs in a group stage match. They have also won all three games by taking a complete lead. They were placed in Group C in the group stage and now have a place in Group 2 for the Super 6.
Group B was the only group in which all four teams lost at least one game in the group stage. South Africa finished at the top of Group B after the group phase and are now represented in Group 2 for the Super 6 phase.

Most runs: ICC U19 World Cup 2024 – Player Rankings 1-10
The batting list is led by Pakistan left-handed opener Shahzaib KHAN. He was exceptional from the start of the tournament. He scored an incredible hundred in the opening match against Pakistan Afghanistan. He then scored a slow 37 against Nepal, but his impressive 80 off 86 against New Zealand took him to the top spot in the 2024 ICC U19 World Cup with the most runs.
Next on the list is Jewel Andrew from the West Indies. Musheer Khan is the third highest scorer in the tournament and the best among all Indian players. After the group stage, he has scored 194 runs in the tournament so far. Indian skipper Uday Saharan is also on the list of TOP 10 most run-scorers. Uday scored 174 runs for India at an average of 58 and was ranked 6th in the list.

Pakistani players dominate in both sections. Ubaid Shah of Pakistan is the bowler with the most wickets after three games. He took nine wickets in the group stage against New Zealand U19, Nepal U19 and Afghanistan U19. He is followed by Indian spinner Saumy Pandey with 8 wickets.
India left-arm pacer Naman Tiwari is also at number 4 in the list with 8 wickets. Afghanistan U19's Khalil Ahmed also picked up 8 wickets and bowled at a strike rate of 18, matching Naman Tiwari's figures.
